PAINTING WAVES (WORKSHOP)

Meet Instagram artist influencer, @by_nick, who will be showing you his process in developing pop culture inspired paintings. Click here for a list of materials and the video will be released early on Thursday.  Friday you can follow along, ask questions, and show us what you've done so far!

DRAWING MOUNTAINS WORKSHOP

Join fine artist Victoria Febrer as she leads a virtual 'classroom' of our students through a landscape workshop. In this hands-on workshop, we will create our own model landscape at home using crushed paper, and then draw a fully rendered landscape in crayon and watercolor.

SMALL PAGE VS THE BIG SCREEN

You can spend your initial career focused on the static page, and then years later wind up moving to animation, or even directing your first full-length animated movie! What are the challenges in such a move, and if you could do it over again, what would you look out for? Come chat with illustrator turned director Scott Christian Sava and veteran triple-threat illustrator/cartoonist/animator and SVA educator Ray Alma as they go over their artistic journey.
